"VKARE" - The moment you hear about this you must be wondering what this acronym stands for. Well, the answer is simple. It doesn’t stand or anything. It just emphasizes our basic idea behind forming a NGO (Non-Government Organization). That is “WE CARE” – we do, in ways through which we can provide the help when required.
VKARE Association is a Non-Government Organization, formed with a purpose to help out the bigger part of our society – the needy ones. The idea being - to create a trust in those who want to help others; by helping them to find the needy ones and contributing money for the right people and the right causes. We ourselves can’t be given credit, for the contributors are the one’s helping us reach out to these people. The aim is to be able to help children in completing atleast their basic education, spend time with orphans (who basically are hungry for love and care), help financially or through guidance for those requiring it, etc.
Usually, it happens to be that a person is interested in contributing, but ends up not doing so as he/ she is skeptic about the fact – whether their money is going to the right source and if being utilized for the right purpose. Well with VKARE, you can rest assured that the contributions reach the people who best deserve it. We believe in first assuring ourselves of the person’s needs and then keeping a good contact with the contributors by updating them regularly regarding the different projects being oraganized. We believe in maintaining transparency with the contributors.
“VKARE Association” was started in Dec’07 and has been registered under the Andhra Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2001 On Feb’09. It is formed by an enthusiastic bunch of seven(7) youngsters; who aspire not only to help those who are needy but also help people to be guided as to who really needs the help. The aim of the association is to divulge into a lot of projects concentrating on a lot of issues. A few of the immediate projects being:
Provide basic level of education
Guiding poor children with the importance of education
Helping those organizations (orphanages, old age homes, etc) who suffer financial constraints
Volunteering to trace lost, run-away, and child labour kids to their parents, etc.
We personally involve ourselves about the proceedings of the project & also keep a tab over their future scope.
We look forward to you being a part of us with your generous contributions. While contributing let us not forget that “ Any help from your side, be it small, can easily end up as a smile to a thousand faces.”

HOW IT ALL STARTED ??????
The spark to this idea started of with the demise of a wonderful person – Y.VAMSI KIRAN. So, let me first start with a small tribute obituary to my dear best friend.
Y. VAMSI KIRAN was one of the most daring & joyous person I have ever met in my life. Always, bursting with immense optimism; He loved children a lot, respected elders & most friendly with his colleagues. A person who leaves an imprint of his personality on each person whom he is in contact with & even today after his remorseful death, we all still hold very fresh memories of him being with us. He was a great guide and helper to all of his friends. I still remember him running to anybody’s help once he came to know about it. Well, words and the amount of space here fail to help me to describe about him and all of his good qualities. I would always regret the chance of not getting to thank him in helping to instill in me a great amount of optimism and helpful nature, and making me believe “nothing is impossible”.
Now to continue about the origin of VKARE Association, I could say that it was a friend’s suggestion to start an organization in his memory which could proceed and continue with the optimism, good-natured and helpful instinct of his into practice. They say - “The person might not live forever, but a thought does”. The same is with VKARE.
This thought of mine helped me in talking to people about this idea. Some of my friends shared the same zeal to give back to the society in ways we could. So, we all came together for a single sole purpose. That day was the birthday of – “VKARE Association”.
